Trias Omega is a tasty and healthy addition to all animal feed. It is a mixture of cold-pressed oils rich in the fatty acids omega 3, 6, and 9. Omega 3 and 6 are 'essential,' which means that animals cannot make these fatty acids themselves.
Essential fatty acids are involved in several vital functions in the body. For example, animals can make two essential substances from omega 3:
EPA (Eicosapentaenoic Acid) and DHA (Docosahexaenoic Acid).
EPA is essential for the heart, blood vessels, and airways and communication between nerve cells.
DHA has a significant influence on the proper functioning of the brain, which mainly consists of fats with a high concentration of DHA. As a result, DHA from omega 3 influences the behavior of the animal. Sufficient DHA ensures good concentration and better learning performance. Due to the presence of DHA in omega 3, this fatty acid is recommended during pregnancy and lactation.
Horses can make a part of these fatty acids in the intestine, but this to a small extent, and that is no guarantee that they will be absorbed. Omega 3 and 6 are therefore indispensable. Omega 9 is not essential, but this fatty acid does prevent the oxidation of the omega 3 and 6 fatty acids.
The animal must receive the different fatty acids in the right proportion. For example, flaxseed oil mainly contains omega 3, but also omega 6 and 9 fatty acids. Evening primrose oil and wheat germ oil are rich in omega six and olive oil in omega 9. The pumpkin seed oil contains omega 3, 6, and 9, and vitamin E oil acts as an antioxidant and natural preservative.
Trias Omega is a healthy extra over the food.
Trias Omega is rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids. Fatty acids have many essential functions in the body.
Natural vitamin E has been added to Trias Omega to improve the shelf life.
Horses and ponies: 1 tablespoon once a day (in acute cases, the dosage can be increased to 2 tablespoons once a day) through the feed.
Unless the vet or therapist prescribes otherwise.
1 tablespoon = about 15 ml 1 teaspoon = about 5 ml If necessary, the amount can be doubled.

Flaxseed oil has become famous for its high content of omega fatty acids.
Olive oil is a healthy addition to the daily diet and an excellent source of healthy fats.
Pumpkin seed oil is traditionally used to maintain a healthy prostate, urinary tract mucous membranes, and hormones.
Rosemary as an extract is a natural preservative. It gives a light, pleasant smell and taste to the oil.
Wheat germ oil is naturally high in vitamin E and is used to keep the skin healthy. Wheat germ oil does not contain gluten.
Evening primrose oil is nourishing and protective for the skin. The oil can be used for dry, flaky, and itchy skin.
Vitamin E protects cells from oxidative stress and is known to help repair the skin. We use the natural form of vitamin E and not the synthetic because the natural state has a better effect. This strong antioxidant also prevents oxidation in the bottle to stay good for longer in a natural way.
