The Elper Horse Balm from F.N.A.
Introduction:
The skin-nourishing Elper Horse Balam supports the skin's self-healing capacity. It is composed of 100% natural ingredients.
After massaging, the ointment works powerfully and deeply because it contributes positively to skin repair and skin tissue general health. In this explanation, the terms "balm" and "ointment" are used interchangeably. The brochure provides a detailed explanation of the composition. It provides insight into the “carrier” with its active ingredients, enriching each other with additional interactions of all ingredients (also called synergy), which together form the final ointment.
Excipients versus active or active substances.
Ointments, in general, cannot do without a stabilizing "carrier." This substance makes the balm such that it can be applied with its main active ingredients and does not slip or evaporate from the skin but is well absorbed. These active substances have been scientifically researched and recognized; their active properties determine how the Skin's effect will develop. What is ultimately achieved, therefore, depends on the choice of the active (active) substances.
Development.
The starting point for the development of the Elper Balsam was the requirement to use a skin-related 100% natural ointment
development! That meant that the carrier itself had to match the body's own fats that care for and condition animal skin. Our laboratory succeeded in this by developing a composition in combination with “wool grease” in addition to the vegetable carrier oils described below.
Wool grease or lanolin as a carrier ...... it is so obvious.
The name already shows that it concerns the fat that is released when washing sheep wool. In fact, the natural fat from a sheep's coat! It is this fat that gives a sheep its natural protection. It connects the wool fibers, seals the fur, and protects the sheep against dehydration, moisture evaporation, and weather effects.
Wool grease also protects against bacteria and other pathogens. Once refined into a body care product, wool grease is also known as lanolin in practice. In this explanation, we also use the term wool fat.
Mammalian skin, in general, is protected and cared for by its natural skin oils. Also our horses and our own! For example, the gray matter on a horse's coat is “skin fat,” and this protective layer protects it against cold and moisture. The choice for wool grease is that the skin easily absorbs the "elper balsam" with its active ingredients and also nourishes and protects itself at the same time!
Additional main ingredients.
In addition to the described animal component wool grease, as already mentioned, vegetable carrier oils further supplement these and together therewith form the final basic composition. This addition to the wool grease consists of the organic, cold-pressed sunflower seed oil (Helianthus Annuus Seed Oil). This nourishing oil is well absorbed by the skin, making it a perfect base oil for the active ingredients.
Besides, the marigold macerate (Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract) was chosen. This flower
is known for its beneficial properties; it soothes the skin and helps it to recover. Finally, Shea butter, from the West African Shea nut or Karite tree (Butyrospermum Parkii), has a softening and smoothing effect on the skin.
By supplementing this base with active, specifically selected ingredients, a unique ointment is born: the FNA® Elper Horse Balm.
Active or active substances.
The elper balsam obtains its full effect by supplementing the supporting base ingredients with a group of purely natural essential (essential) oils.

Properties, summary.
Each of the above essential oils will be individual or synergistic (cooperatively reinforcing)
known) properties contribute to the effectiveness of the ointment. After the specific massage, elper works deeply and penetrates into and under the skin, which aids in good blood circulation. The horse is thus supported by natural self-recovery. The antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and regenerating essential oils contribute optimally to this natural recovery of the skin's resilience.
The ointment thus contributes to the relief of complaints as a result of sensitive and affected skin. It also specifically nurtures and soothes as a result of problems with insect bites. The Elper can also be used preventively. Consider, for example, care of the tail implant, mane, and coronet. Massaging in those areas, in particular, supports the durability of a healthy skin structure. Yes, the use of the FNA® elper also offers options for preventive support.
